Another of my son’s shoes, and he still wears them. Not a baby any more, he’s very much a toddler now. These are his navy blue ‘USA’ shoes, made by Pipsqueakers – though they have been ‘desqueaked’. You can order them with special squeaks, you see, but daddy said ‘no squeaks!’ and so the shoes are squeak-free.
If you’re interested, this was drawn in copic multiliner 0.1 in a small moleskine cahier and took just over an hour to draw.
Oh, and Happy New Year 2010!

Yes, I’m very interested! I’m just getting into this whole drawing/sketching thing. Info about the medium gives me ideas about the abilities of each medium. The time it took to draw helps me realize how much time must be invested (I tend to underestimate the time required). Wish everyone would put that info online with their drawings.
I know what you mean. I always used to worry i was taking too long on a drawing, or not long enough, and always had the impression everyone else was faster than me, until i went on a sketchcrawl once which included some of my favourite onlne sketchers, and started to crank out sketches one after another, in case I apeared to be slow, only to realise that people really do draw at a normal speed, not at a hundred drawings an hour, and it was a revelation to find this out!
