If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber’d here
While these visions did appear.
(William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Nights Dream, V-I)

The back cover of the watercolour moleskine number 3, drawn in cobalt copic. I’ve enjoyed this sketchbook in particular; it has covered a lot of ground. You can see all of the pictures in this particular moley right here. I hope I learn as much in my next ‘moley’, which is waiting patiently to be started.
Speaking of moleskines, I got a very nice mention on the ‘moleskinerie’ site the other day. An honour!
Oh what a sweet ending — i love how you drew your Pigma Microns in particular! I have to try the Copic.
Pete, my goodness, you certainly have lots of patienece, this is really well done! Both you and France tempt me to have a crack at drawing my materials. Keep up the great work!
It certainly is a good feeling finishing a notebook. I’m glad you posted the work for everyone to see, It’s very good, and acts as a nice diversion from the drudgery of my day. I particularly fancy your drawings of San Francisco, Davis, and Sacramento. I’m going to UC Davis at the moment, so drawings from the area are nice. It’s nice recognising the places you’re drawing.
Great sketchbook, is it a watercolor style moleskine? I always use the small sketchbooks. I have several large and a couple watercolor ones that I haven’t opened… yet.
cheers all! yes it’s the large watercolour one. I love the copic fineline drawing pens, haven’t tried the big copic pens yet, though!
One can never have enough pens. LOL. Nice sketch my friend.
