Thanks for visiting my website! Here is a large selection of sketches that I’ve done over the years, categorized by place or theme or whatever, thumbnails which point to the image on my Flickr site.

I usually sketch in a watercolour moleskine, but often use other sketchbooks as well. To see the contents of each sketchbook, please visit the sketchbooks page (note: under construction!)…

Pete, I am so in love with your sketches, I think I will pack my bags and move into your blog! I miss the Bay Area terribly and you depict all my favorite spots exactly the way they feel to me. Thank you!

Just been directed to your stuff by my art teacher – it is brilliant!! Thank you for lifting my spirits and showing me what can be done.
I particularly love the shoes series.

    Hi Pete,
I met you briefly at the Jville tavern in Jacksonville Oregon. I was wondering if you can direct me to any posts of what you sketched while in our little town of Jville? I am currently putting a music project together with a welshman named Steve Joseph check out I would appreciate anything sketchwise you might throw our way to use on some of our promo posters. Do you have nything of the liverpool caverns, or musical instruments drum’s, guitars, horns etc.? Also did you get by the back porch to see the ‘wall of boots”? Any way thank you and nice work! love your page.

Syd’s barber shop is still open? The last time I had a ” short back and sides ” in there, it was 57 years ago :-)

    Hi Pete
Your blog and facebook page are my absolute favourite websites to get inspiration from! Thanks so much for the informative “materials” section on your blog – just what I needed to inspire me, and make me feel more at ease about the things I do with my own sketching.
Question: your Moleskine watercolour – what is the biggest size that you use and do you prefer smaller sketch books that large one – why?

    Keep up the impressive work!

Thank you Kat! The Moleskine I use is the 8″x5″ panoramic watercolour one. I prefer smaller sketchbooks because I can fit them into my bag, and also my time being short if I have a larger sketchbook, it takes me longer to fill.
I must update my ‘materials’ page though as I use several uni-ball signo um-151 pens now that aren’t on there, and they are the best.

Nice blog here! Also your site loads up fast! What web host are you using?
Can I get your affiliate link to your host? I wish my
web site loaded up as fast as yours lol

Hi this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so
I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be enormously appreciated!
